The NoBark Voice is the only bark control collar that lets you record your own voice command via the built in microphone. This new and unique feature adds to the training of your dog by using your voice commands to aid in the correction. In the first mode, a tone accompanied by vibrations interrupt the dog from barking. In the second and third modes you can record two different voice messages each lasting up to five seconds. When the dog barks, the collar detects vibrations through a sensor built into the collar and interrupts the dog by a spray of mist. A Full tank contains fifteen to twenty sprays. Each refill canister contains the equivalent of 360 sprays (18 refills). The collar comes with a long life battery that will last up to 5 year. More Than 800 Companies Expected to Feature Latest Innovations at the Pet Industry’s Largest Annual Trade Show, Demonstrating the Strength and Resilience of the Pet Industry.

According to the 2009 CEIR Index report released by the Center for Exhibition Industry Research (CEIR), the U.S. trade show industry experienced a 12.5 percent overall decline in 2009. Additionally, it was reported that the decline was four times greater than the largest previous loss of 3.1 percent in 2008. Data for the fourth quarter of 2009 showed declines in all four metrics of measurement, including net square feet (-12.3 percent); revenue (-13.2 percent); professional attendance (-4.1 percent); and number of exhibiting companies (-5.8 percent).

Statistics such as these had Global Pet Expo organizers working harder than ever to ensure that this show remained strong and provided the value it has built its reputation on for decades. Despite the fact that Global Pet Expo 2009 was a success and enjoyed a 2 percent increase in attendance, show organizers remained cautiously optimistic about this year’s event. This year’s Global Pet Expo, that took place March 25-27, 2010, enjoyed growth that completely exceeded organizers’ expectations with 803 exhibiting companies, 2,250 booths and total attendance up this year by an astonishing 10 percent. That totals more than 4,495 buyers – the highest buyer attendance ever at Global Pet Expo and a positive indicator that despite the economic downturn, this industry continues to stand strong.

(Clearwater, Florida) DOGTEK today announced they have named Nassim Jammal to serve as the company’s Chief Technology Officer.

Jammal, had most recently served since June 2008 as a project chief and senior engineer at Pertimm, a privately held technology company out of France where he was responsible for the complete integration of their semantic search engine for clients such as NASA, EADS, Meetic, and Pages Jaunes.

Emmanuel Alliel, president & CEO of DOGTEK, said bringing Jammal on board was selected on his track record heading several complex corporate units, as well as his technological knowledge.

“Our search to fill the CTO position has been focused and thorough,” said Alliel. “He will be a great fit here at DOGTEK.”

Jammal was raised in South France. He graduated with his Masters Degree in Computer Science from the European Institute of Technology (Epitech) in Paris, France. After college, from November 2006 to June 2008, he served as the Head of Development for the multimedia company Entechnevision in Montreal, Canada working with clients such as Second City Communications and TELUS.

(Clearwater, Fl.) DOGTEK has officially announced they have adopted the Enterprise Dog Park in Clearwater, Florida. The newly developed and tremendously successful Enterprise Dog Park is located south on Enterprise Road, just east of U.S. 19. This park offers an unusual amenity: looped trails where unleashed dogs and their owners can stretch their legs or rest on benches with a view of nature.

The $460,000 Park is part of a 20-acre tract that was mostly undisturbed before construction started. The land is nearly two-thirds wetlands, with woods and saw palmettos on the 7.5 acres of uplands. The park has an agility course with exercise equipment and a 70-foot wooden bridge that leads to a series of looped trails through the woods. Big and small dogs will be together and both enclosures will have fountains, doggie bags and trash receptacles.

City of Clearwater officials say the dog park was included in the city parks and recreation master plan developed in 2002 as a result of citywide public interest. The City Council approved the park unanimously in 2007.

“Having seen how valuable they are, it was an easy vote for me to go ahead and vote for the new park,” said City Council member John Doran, “It’s really important for dogs to know how to be around other dogs. The best place to learn that is at the dog parks.”

“Our biggest problem is the parking; it’s more popular than we thought,” said Art Kader, assistant director of the parks and recreation department “The city is looking at additional options to supplement the 35 spaces.”

A covered picnic area with two tables, plenty of water fountains for dogs and for people, and a hose for washing off dogs will be near the lot. And after it rains, dogs can splash through an otherwise dry retention pond south of the lot.

The park was developed and constructed by Deuel & Associates Civil Engineers of Clearwater who prepared construction drawings. Several contractors are involved with the project, including Keystone Excavators of Oldsmar, B. R. W. Contracting of Land O’Lakes and Oakhurst Construction Co. of Seminole.

“DOGTEK plans on scheduling, coordinating and implementing several annual dog park improvement and enhancement plans with which we will carry out along with the City Of Clearwater” said Derek Ammon, VP of Marketing and Sales for DOGTEK “We will annually throw several other events like dog walks and barbeques to involve the community” he said.
